What is Tody for?

Tody is a daily focus app that simplifies what you want to do today. Add tasks, choose 3 for today, and move through them one by one in focus mode.

Why only 3 tasks?

Tody is not built for long to-do lists. It helps you choose the 3 things you actually want to move forward on today. Fewer choices, clearer focus.

Do I need an account?

No. Tody does not require an account. Open the app and add your tasks directly.

Where is my data stored?

Tasks, streaks, history, and language preference are stored on your device. Tody does not use an account or cloud sync to send this data to a server.

Does my data sync to other devices?

No. Tasks and progress stay only on the device you use. If you change phones or delete the app, that data may not transfer.

Does Tody work offline?

Yes for the daily flow — plan, focus, and streaks work offline. Buying or restoring Tody Plus needs an internet connection.

What happens if I skip a task?

A skipped task is not counted as completed. You can still finish the day’s focus flow, and completed vs skipped counts are shown separately.

Can I change tasks after the day ends?

After the focus flow ends, the day closes and Tody shows an end-of-day summary. New tasks are added for the next day.

Can I reset everything?

Yes. Home screen → Settings → Reset everything clears local app data (tasks, history, streak, insights, notification preferences, and language). An active Tody Plus subscription is managed by Apple and is not cancelled by reset.

Which languages are supported?

Tody starts in Türkçe if your device region is Turkey, otherwise English. Change language anytime under Home screen → Settings → Language (English or Türkçe).

How do I report feedback or a bug?

Email us for support. If you can, include your app version, device model, what you were doing, and a screenshot.

How much does Tody Plus cost?

Price is shown in the app and on the App Store at purchase time and can vary by country and currency. Tody Plus is a monthly auto-renewable subscription. There is no yearly plan.

How do I cancel Tody Plus?

Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings, or in the app via Home screen → Settings → Manage Subscription (shown when Plus is active). Cancelling turns off auto-renew; you keep Plus until the end of the paid period.

What happens after I cancel?

You keep the Focus widget, smart notifications, and insights until the current billing period ends. After that, those Plus features lock again. Planning, focus mode, and streaks stay free. Cancelling does not delete your local tasks or streak.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the Tody Plus paywall (Home screen → Settings → Tody Plus, or from a locked Plus feature) and tap Restore. Use the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Internet is required for restore.

Do smart notifications need permission?

Yes. After you subscribe, enable reminders under Home screen → Settings → Notifications. iOS will ask for notification permission. If you denied it, turn notifications on for Tody in iOS Settings. Morning, evening, and gentle nudge are optional and local — no account required.

How do I add the Focus widget?

With an active Tody Plus subscription, long-press your Home Screen → tap Edit / + → search for Tody → add the Focus widget. It shows your current focus task. Without Plus, the live focus task stays locked.
